SMS TERMS & CONDITIONS HELPING HAND CENTER

1. SMS For Consent Communication
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our text messaging services. By opting into our messaging program, you agree to receive messages from Helping Hand Center related to your services and fund-raising events and opportunities. The Phone Numbers obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
2. Types of SMS Communications
If you have consented to receive text messages from Helping Hand, you may receive messages including but not limited to appointment reminders, fundraising event, and donation information.
For Example: Hello, thank you for contacting Helping Hand, how can we help you? Reply Stop to opt-out at any time. Message and data rates may apply, for assistance, text Help or visit our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
3. Messaging Frequency
Messaging frequency may vary depending on your interaction with our services. You may expect to receive SMS messages from us only when necessary. We do not engage in unsolicited marketing messages via SMS. Our SMS message frequency will be from 50 to 1000 text messages daily across all users.
4. Potential Fees for SMS Messaging
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier’s terms and conditions. Many carriers charge a fee for each message sent or received. This can vary depending on the carrier’s pricing structure and whether the message is sent domestically or internationally. You are solely responsible for any fees or charges incurred from your mobile carrier related to SMS communication with Helping Hand. Please verify with your mobile carrier for data and messaging standard rates.
5. Opt-In Method
Customer will Opt-In for SMS messaging from Helping Hand via a Contact form at https://helpinghand-il.org/contact/, this agreement for SMS will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Opting Out
You can opt out of receiving SMS messaging from Helping Hand at any time by texting “STOP” to the number from which you received messages. Once you send “STOP,” you will receive no further SMS communication. They can Opt back In at any time by replying START.

If you are experiencing any issues, text “HELPING” to the number from which you received messages. Or, you can get help directly from us at https://helpinghand-il.org
