An Evening With the Arts

Join us for our 2nd Annual Evening With the Arts event on Thursday, February 12th celebrating our clients’ abilities and self-expression through the art of performance. Proceeds will benefit our arts program, encouraging children and adults with developmental disabilities to explore their creativity, discover new artistic talents, build confidence and self-esteem, and express their feelings verbally and nonverbally through various art forms. This year, our Community Day Program clients will perform selected scenes and songs from the movie High School Musical!

Celebrate with us at our annual gala – an evening designed to inspire and delight! Guests will enjoy a beautifully curated dining experience, the thrill of silent and live auctions, and an after-party to end the night on a high note. We’re excited to welcome back Corey McPherrin, former FOX 32 Chicago anchor, as our Master of Ceremonies.

Move With HH 5K

Thanks to the amazing turnout of more than 200 families, we didn’t just meet our fundraising goal – we soared past it, raising over $50,000 to help transform lives and continue empowering the individuals we serve every day.

This success wouldn’t have been possible without our generous sponsors and our inspiring partnership with StockX, whose collaboration allowed our clients to showcase their creativity and individuality through one-of-a-kind, custom-designed Air Force 1s.

Even when the weather changed our plans, your unwavering support ensured that our mission stayed on course. Thank you for moving with us and for helping create meaningful impact in our community!

Helping Hand Golf Outing

We’re so grateful for all of the support at our 39th Annual Golf Outing! From impressive shots on the course to great conversations off it, the day was filled with fun to support those we serve.

Thanks to your generosity, the funds raised will support our expansion initiative, allowing more children to benefit from our Outpatient Clinic and School. This growth means more kids will receive the care and education they need to thrive.

A heartfelt thank-you to our volunteers, sponsors, and Golf Outing committee for the time, energy, and dedication that made this event possible.

We’re truly grateful for your commitment to keep moving our mission forward and can’t wait to keep you updated as this exciting project comes to life!

An Evening of Transformation

Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of our community, our 26th Annual Gala: An Evening of Transformation was a tremendous success—we’re thrilled to share that together we raised over $395,000 in support of our mission!

Whether you attended the event, donated, supported us on from afar, or have supported us throughout the years – we want to say thank you.

Throughout the evening, we experienced powerful mission moments shared by our clients, students, and their families. Their voices reminded us of the real, lasting impact your support makes possible every day.
