Ongoing Opportunities

2 Hours Per Week

If you’re looking to make a regular, ongoing commitment, we have many roles available. Our “regular volunteers” are asked to commit to at least 2 hours per week, for a minimum term of 6 to 12 months.

Helping Hand offers many short-term volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Whether you’re looking to give back for a day, a season, or during a holiday, there are plenty of ways to connect with us and make a difference!

2 Hour Mission Experience

Our corporate volunteer experiences provide a unique opportunity for your employees to engage in hands-on service while strengthening teamwork, boosting morale, and connecting with our mission.

Placement in our volunteer program is dependent on completion of our Volunteer Screening process which can take up to 3 weeks. We take great care in matching volunteers with the right opportunities and ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients, so we appreciate your patience throughout this process.

Whether your team is beautifying our program spaces or community homes, assisting with special events, or engaging with our clients through enrichment activities, volunteers leave with a deeper appreciation for community impact—and for one another.

Each experience is customized to align with your company’s goals, group size, and schedule. Volunteer events are 2 hours long and include an opportunity to hear from a Client Mission Ambassador, who will highlight the importance of equally valuing people with disabilities in our community
